Our Story
Rory and Felix's story began in Los Angeles on March 17, 2021, Saint Patrick’s Day, with the gentle nudge of modern romance courtesy of OkCupid. After a few days of playful banter and careful vetting, Felix arranged a dinner date at a French restaurant in West LA.
Rory arrived at Felix’s place an entire hour early, convinced that no respectable reservation could possibly be as late as 9 PM after a long workday. Laughing off the mix-up, they promptly abandoned formalities and opted instead for the casual charm of a neighborhood pizzeria.
They quickly discovered an effortless chemistry that carried them from dinner into hours of walking along Sunset Boulevard together. Deep in lively conversation, they bonded over a mutual passion for thought-provoking sci-fi films, philosophy, and spirituality.
From that first unforgettable evening, their relationship grew more profoundly, guided by shared values of honesty, self-discovery, reliability, and family. They nurtured a foundation of love and unwavering support, culminating in their heartfelt engagement on July 7, 2024.
Now, surrounded by their closest family and friends, Rory and Felix are excited to celebrate this new chapter and the lifelong adventure ahead.

Philadelphia International Airport is about a 20-25 minute Uber or Lyft ride from The Bellevue Hotel. A rental car is not necessary unless you plan to extend your stay in Philadelphia or explore the surrounding areas.

We will provide private shuttle service between The Bellevue Hotel and our venue, The Willows, on Friday, June 12.
Guests staying at other hotels in Philadelphia are welcome to meet at The Bellevue to take the shuttle.
